Bigspring mountain is a great place to for many different reasons such as: a great place for exercising, place where you can go to enjoy family get together, and a good place to enjoy nature and take pictures of the beauty it holds.

Firstly, bigspring mountain is a great place to exercise due to the fact you can walk, jog, or run. Bigspring mountain is about 2.5 miles around the perimeter. Many would disagree because they haven't been to bigspring mountain.

Secondly, bigspring mountain is a good family get together place, for the fact that kids can play on the playground. Adults can enjoy the pignick area. Many wouldnt know because they have yet to experience the play area and pignick area.

Thirdly, bigspring mountain you can take pictures and enjoy the nature, and the scenic part of bigspring mountain. I have also seen people camp for a day at bigspring mountain, but only for like a day or night. Many wouldn't know because they need to try visiting bigspring mountain.

In conclusion, bigspring mountain is a great place because you can enjoy the nature, talking pictures, exercise, and these are the reasons big spring mountain is a...

Only an HR away from Midland but worth the drive. The grass REALLY is Greener a few minutes away from the Permian Basin. Because of the lockdown we have been looking for ways to get out of the house (SAFELY), and the Big Spring National Park was the perfect getaway. Big Spring is a small tiny town and the national park brings an amazing sense of peace to this specific area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Despite it being the middle of July the weather wasn't too hot and we truly enjoyed the hike. I would personally recommend taking the scenic view first to get acquainted with the area. We made the mistake of parking and hiking without knowing the trail and ended up walking UPHILL for at least half a mile. Although, I will admit it was GREAT cardio! The area also has a playground, restroom, parking and picnic/rest area. It is perfect for all ages. Would love to come back during fall when the sun isn't too hot. 10/10...

This was actually a very pleasant surprise. The website for this park really doesn't do it justice. It's very, very small, but in spite of this they managed to produce around 7 to 8 miles of very enjoyable walking/hiking trails. It's also very easy to find from I-20. Google says that this is a 24 hour park, but that is not the case. Its open to the public from 8am to 10pm. There is no fee for entry, no check-in process. There is a playground up by the rangers headquarters if you have kids. The view is amazing all around on the paved trail, which runs much higher than the more primitive outer loop trail. The outer loop trail brings you closer to nature than does the...

This is an amzing place, I visited the park just for a few minuts and it was so cool, the weather was amazing, a lot of cool, educated people. The views are super nice, they have bBQ places and scenic views! Go ready to walk and enjoy the nature. Also be ready, they do not have vending machines. You may go by your car, they got some spots for you to Park and continuing walking. I did not see any pet, but I think you may go with them! 🦮🐕‍🦺🐈🐈‍⬛ There isn't bins to trash, witch is not good, however you can keep your trash with you! Definitely a place to come back and enjoy with friends and family.
