Alpine Mountain Golf — Attraction in Birch Run Township

We went to fraenkmouth from the south side and on our way back stopped at this place. My kids were asking to use the Boat cart. It was hot and there was only us at the park. Not a single people beside us at the park. We got 2 double tickets of boat cart. I was with my 2-year-old daughter and my son was driving the other one and he was not able to move it at first because the cart was bad so after like 2 minutes they gave him a different one but they still stopped him after 6 minutes at the ride time. My son started crying to go with me again so I told my wife to get another ticket. She got the tickets and came back and at the boat ride people asked me one or two people going I said two because my son wants to go with me. So they let us in and we started riding the cart. The unprofessional, rude, stupid lady from the counter came and was loud and started screaming why two people riding they got one person ticket. So my question is why they let us in that's not our fault? They have different colors tag for one and two person. So I told them that's only $2 tell her to stop and I am going to pay the extra two let me finish.

I can tell why the park was empty. These people need to know how to operate a business and how to talk and be professional...

This facility is very run down and need of serious repairs, but my family enjoyed playing the course regardless and we had a good time. Unfortunately, the older woman who works there is extremely rude and I feel like it was almost intentional by the way she spoke to my family and other customers who were there. On the last hole, my son went to retrieve a ball that he mistakenly hit that landed on another putting green (no one else was playing) and she had the audacity to yell from the office across the course to remind him to stay on the course we paid for. Who does that? It wasn't like there was horseplay or vandalism involved, he was simply picking up his ball? If you are out of town with kids you are better playing mini golf at Bavarian Inn Lodge, going zip lining or the millions of other things you can spend your money on there. If the courses weren't falling apart and torn up, I might give another star but this attitude and Iack of professionalism isn't...

Only giving one star because I can’t give 0! This place is so ran down and straight up dangerous. They need to fix this place up a bit. It’s quite the dump. What the lack of stars is for, the customer service is AWFUL!! My son got stung really badly and we didn’t get to finish. We were halfway through and had to leave. She stood on the sidewalk and watched us place our balls in the hole since we couldn’t finish. We walked inside and told her we had to stop early because he got stung. We gave back the clubs and got him a drink to be able to take some allergy medicine (his arm was swelling). All she said was “ok.” There was no remorse, no refund, no coupon to come back. Literally nothing, and charged us for the drink. She saw that we didn’t finish, you would just think the customer service would’ve been better to get us to come back. We will never!! What a waste of money....
