♿️ It is completely accessible and the path is entirely paved. I walked it twice and almost got 2 miles in for the day. There are several entrances from neighborhoods, but I only found one main entrance. There are several handicap spots, but the parking lot is paved. As you walk into the park on your right, you'll notice a beautiful grilling area. Needs some maintenance and cleaning, but it had mosaic tile for decoration in the brick, and it's covered by a large pavilion. Continuing, you'll see a larger pavilion, almost stage like with picnic tables, and I believe public restrooms. There is a public pool above all this, not sure of cost, if you need to be a resident, it was busy and only one person was working. There was a creek or rain runoff area on the left of the path that needs slight maintenance bc it is overgrown, and you can not really see anything. I know the Friends of Crestwood take care of a lot of this, and when you get near the tennis courts, you'll see solar panels that power lights for the courts. They have also donated lots of patio furniture for that area. New stairs leading up to a road with solar lighting on the stairs adds a nice touch. A picnic area in the shade right across from Girls INC. There are a few historic signs that tell a lot about the history of the area and who developed what. There is a practice football field/soccer field available. A playground. The path is concrete, and the entirety of the walk is mild. With just a little pruning, you could see the water that runs the entirety of the park. Beautiful, kept up, and next door to Seasick Records, Thank You Bookstore, and Crestwood Tavern. You also have the Filling Station to visit after your walk...
Read moreDon't go! They must be closed permanently. Myself and a few others went there today for our kids and the lights were on, the blow ups were inflated and the open sign was on but the door was locked. Phone voice-mail is full and a neighboring business said that they were closed down for good. I bought tickets through Groupon so that was a waste. And that part ticks me off. Their website is active because they recently changed to summer hours. They really need to update their website and they also should have on the door if they have closed down. As we were leaving after waiting for 30 mins to see if they were just behind the lights were turned off. If you don't want business or are closed permanently just say that. And don't send...
Read moreI've been a twice a week visitor, with my dogs, for years. The park is low key and very calming. You can have a pleasant walk here.
Problems have been emerging, though. The park is being used by more and more folks during this health scare.
Some of the new visitors are lacking in the ability to use the trash cans that are in the park.
Being polite: Some of them are very trashy and are being very disrespectful to other park goers when they toss their used diapers, fast food waste and other items on the parking lot surface.
I and others take the time to pick up THEIR trash.
I recommend signs be posted to reinforce the "please do not...
