Pioneer Park — Attraction in Bismarck

Great place for singletrack mountain biking or hiking in Bismarck! Beautiful views of the river and Legendary sunsets. Nice parking lot up at the Indian Village site to park and watch the sunset. Lower Pioneer Park is north end of the paved biking/ walking/ running/ skating path along the river, with plenty of parking and well -maintained sand volleyball courts. Clean. Best view of Bismarck, IMO. This appears to be a "local secret". It contains the remnants of a non-migratory First Nations village, and what I consider the best view of the Bismarck-Mandan valley.
