Well-kept city park with small pavillion shelter, benches, tables and bbq stands. Indoor bathrooms. Tons of free parking. Sand-beach swimming area; no regular lifeguard on duty. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the park area and skateboarding, rollerskating, and bicycling on park paths is prohibited. On Tuesday (during the summer) afternoons and evenings the park hosts a farmer's market, free live music and food vendors. A few restaurants (a couple have beer/wine/liquor) within walking distance; some with lake views and/or outdoor service. Great boat launch. Two concrete ramps and two 100' docks to line boats along and tie up while loading/unloading. No public slips or mooring buoys. Rock rip-rap park shoreline is not conducive to shore landing or tie-ups. Ample trailer maneuvering space and a lot of dedicated vehicle/trailer parking. More parking (on street) about 2-3 blocks away. No supplies (fuel, ice, beverages, bait, etc.) in direct vicinity; bait & tackle shops and convenience stores within a couple miles. Private boat club/rental marina adjacent to...

Restroom/changing facilities and splash pad are open this year!! Everyone else reviewed the set up so I'll review the beach vibe. Come at 10 a.m. on a weekday and it's little kids and their parents. Come after noon and it is a hundred teenagers hanging out mixed with little kids and parents. I'm all for teens doing fun stuff, so not a problem for me but some people prefer to avoid teenagers. Weekends are just busy all day so we avoid coming then. Clean sand. Saw a pair of loons near us and a bunch of bluegill in the swimming area. Anyone know the length of the deep end from one end to another though? I guessed 60 yards or so. Finally, the Blaine police have an active...

The park is nice but why does the park charge for guest parking. The facility is already being rented for $100+, but charging additional parking is kind of ridiculous. Not everyone lives in Blaine who comes to an event at the park. Ridiculous having to pay $100+ to rent the park/pavilion for 4 hours and pay $200+ for party guest to be able to park($10/car).

Please advertise parking is additional $10 on Blaine reservation page and at least have a group Parking discount for events.

If we weren’t past the grace period to cancel we would’ve done so. Would not rent the pavilion again. Or recommend anyone else to rent the park unless all guest are...

First time coming here, the Lake was nice joined a small Birthday party, everything was well kept, the main bathrooms were closed so Porta John's are what is available. The Splash pad was not on, which was okay, and more than understandable. There was a food truck, which was a bonus since most county fairs, and the Great Minnesota get together are cancelled so far. We did have to pay a $10 fee for a temporary parking tag, if we weren't residents of the area. They took cash or card. All in all a great time, beautiful weather, and lots a laughs. Priceless!

Beautiful little park tucked away in a very nice neighborhood.. free to Blaine residents ( which i am not.. $10 day pass or $30 season pass) snack shop, boat rentals, splash pad, nice beach area.. discovered this while " park exploring" with my granddaughter.. she loved it . I you off my shirt to get a little sun, she said it was gross and i should put my shirt back on... Next time I'm coming alone πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
