My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Crown Hill Winery in the Texas Hill Country, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the owners' hospitality was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing their passion for wine and their beautiful vineyard.
Crown Hill Winery has truly transformed itself into a modern and welcoming haven for wine enthusiasts. The attention to detail in the design and decor was evident, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests. It's a place where you can relax, savor good company, and enjoy remarkable wines.
Speaking of wines, the Texas Tempranillo at Crown Hill was an absolute standout! This wine had a rich, smooth flavor that left a lasting impression. It perfectly complemented the stunning Hill Country landscape, making our visit even more memorable.
Crown Hill Winery is a gem that combines warm hospitality with a modern touch, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Texas Hill Country. I can't recommend it enough, and I look forward to returning soon to enjoy more of their delightful wines and welcoming atmosphere. Five stars...
Read moreMy wife and I plus 3 friends had the opportunity to stop by Crown Hill Winery on a rainy, cold Saturday and what an exceptional experience we had. We decided to have the red wine tasting and the charcuterie board. The charcuterie board had a great selection of cheese, meats, olives, figs, chocolates and more. While the charcuterie board was incredible, the wine was exceptional. All the wines we tried were from the 2019 vintages and consisted of Malbec. Tempranillo, Merlot, Mourvèdra and Bonitās. I’ve never heard of a Bonitās before which is a blend of Petite Sirah and Tannat. While it was very good, my wife and I thought the Tempranillo was the standout wine of the tasting. The property sits on a hill, so the views are amazing with both indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely be returning to...
Read moreI came by Crown Hill Winery for a wine tasting with friends who are big Crown Hill fans. I tasted the Picpoul Blanc, Rose, Tempranillo, Merlot, and Mourvedre. All of the wines I tried were delicious - the Mourvedre was my absolute favorite, which I took a bottle home of.
The tasting room is absolutely stunning, with art on the walls available for purchase made from local artists.
There's a nice patio area outside that is perfect for enjoying your wine when the weather is cooler.
I highly recommend everyone to come here if they're in the Hill Country doing a wine tour. It's a great stop on the way to Fredericksburg from Austin, or if they're glamping across the street...
