Outdoorsy Hill Country — Hotel in Blanco

Our stay at Outdoorsy Hill Country was an incredible experience for me and my two kids. We spent quality time making s’mores, grilling dinner, and connecting with nature. The tent provided some fun games, and we enjoyed playing cards and dominoes on our porch while watching the stunning sunset.

The staff, Sabrina, Kailei, and Anthony, were exceptionally welcoming and kind. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, from providing fantastic local recommendations to creating a home-like atmosphere. Their warmth and hospitality truly enhanced our visit.

The views of the hill country are breathtaking, with sunsets that are simply unmatched. The full bar, complete with beer on tap, is a rare and delightful addition to a camping experience. There is something for everyone here, making it perfect for families. My kids were thrilled to see wildlife and critters they had never encountered before.

The entire property being golf cart-only is a brilliant touch, preserving the landscape and adding to the unique charm of the place. The tents themselves are stunning, with beautiful interiors and wrap-around porches that offer perfect sunset views right from your doorstep.

Witnessing the hard work and passion the staff put into this place was inspiring. Outdoorsy Hill Country is truly special, and we will definitely be returning. It’s also a dog-friendly spot, so our little fur baby Leo got to join us and had a blast riding in the golf cart!

This glamping experience was like no other. My husband is very outdoorsy, but not me. I was skeptical about camping in a tent, but wanted to do something he would enjoy. I found this and thought, this could be something we would both enjoy. I could not have picked anything better. The tent was cozy, well-stocked, clean, and had the perfect layout for an intimate getaway or spending time with family and friends. They even provided games to choose from to enjoy quality time with one another. The tub on the porch overlooking the amazing view of the trees and deer was breathtaking. Our host: Kailei, made our stay even better. She thought of everything we needed before ever having to ask for it. Kailei recommended we visit the common area and I understand why. The oversized deck with the opportunity to engage with other visitors was amazing. The opportunity to make smores over the fire, have a drink from their bar, and hangout while watching deer feed, the stars, the light music, and the perfect ambiance...I couldn't have asked for more. So thank you, thank you Kailei for all the hard work and dedication you put forth to making our stay the most incredible getaway we've had in a while. We definitely will return and recommend this trip to others. On another note the wine tour and bourbon tour recommended were AMAZING!!!! Again, thank you Kailei....

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Outdoorsy Hill Country while in town for the Peach Jamboree Rodeo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the location is absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, the peacefulness of the area is immediately grounding — a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. At night, the sky opens up to a canvas of stars more vivid and plentiful than anything you’ll ever see in a big city. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really appreciate the beauty around you.

The site itself is thoughtfully laid out, clean, and welcoming, but what really sets Outdoorsy Hill Country apart is the people. Sabrina, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Her hospitality and kindness made us feel more like guests at a friend's ranch than visitors passing through. It’s rare to find that level of personal care, and it didn’t go unnoticed.

Whether you're in town for an event like the Peach Jamboree or just looking to unplug for a few days, Outdoorsy Hill Country is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to...
