Honestly for what this is you can’t ask for much more. This park has 4 camping sites tucked away on the tree line. We were fortunate enough to get the corner site and it was lovely for the night. No hook ups or utilities but there is a fire ring and picnic table for each site. It’s free to camp here and I was impressed with the cleanliness. They have vault toilets, bare minimum, but it was clean and maintained. If you have kids there is a big playground and open grassy areas they can run wild along with a little stream area. I definitely recommend a night or even 2 here as it’s convenient, secluded, quiet and in a gorgeous area. It is biking distance to the Kal Haven trail head which was really cool.

Beautiful tiny pocket park in this sweet town. Tom, the family owner/caretaker/kind hearted host was great to meet. For campers, you could get mixed up and think it’s closed if the gate is locked, thats the gate to the ball park side, the sites are a few feet up at the next entrance marked by the brown camp/tent sign. Says you can stay up to five nights. There is a pit toilet, water spigot, and it’s well lit. I’ve been here twice, once in 2020 and this visit, both times there was one long term person here that was no problem.

Nice place to camp for the night but washrooms are not close to sites. It $20 for the night have to leave money in drop box at town hall.

0/5 stars! Not worth going! Thrown out after 3 days, but signs say 5 days consecutive is allowed per 2 months, man that runs it, illegal harrasement, thumbs down, will never return. Man who runs "Old man Nick" and his bottle returning Wife shows up at 730am yelling and screaming about staying for 3 days, then threatens police, township board says local man can run it however he wants, although 2 signs posted at campground listing 5 days consecutive max per 2 months is shown obviously but is not the adhered or true rule. They make up their own different rules. Prepare for drama from them! Thumbs down for terrible treatment from these people. Dont go...

Wonderfully peaceful place! Well maintained. Bathrooms are nothing spectacular, but it's just an outhouse! Shady pavilion, playground, and a nice little well shaded creek to dip your feet in to cool off! There is a grill by the pavilion as well. Bugs were not an issue but holy cow talk about huge spiders! Definitely recommend this place!! It is $20 per night to stay! Don't cheat them, the overseer, Tom, will call the Sheriff's Department! He is a very nice guy to chat with! Nice place to stop and stay a week to just get away. There are close by gas stations and a grocery store in...
