Its nice, but is not great. The first time i was here was when i reserved the shelter to go my sons bday. I really liked that it had plenty of parking, and "Real" bathrooms. The shelter was clean, and the staff wven stopped by just to go over instructions and give me a garbage bag so i can clean after the party, which i didnt mind at all. Then i came back to bring my 2year older to get in touch with nature (and so we could get some exercise)....that didnt go so well, is just a path that goes around (or another that goes kind of lower, to the edge of pond) and thats it. You cant hike, or wonder off, and the path doesnt even have trees around to make some shade, so the whole time we were walking right under the sun, which was horrible though we had hats and shades on . She got borred pretty quickly and i was only able to distract for a quick minute when we happened to see a couple of butterflies.

I recommend this for older people, but definitely not...

This was probably one of my favorite places to visit to walk and enjoy nature. A couple of years ago they stopped cutting the grass and now there is a bunch of tall grass that blocks your view of the big pond...which is a bummer. This place is so beautiful and to hide a pretty view with 6 foot tall grass makes me sad. Otherwise, still a great track to walk! (P.s. this summer they did start to block off areas for construction so that's another downside...

Had no idea this was even here until my niece rented it for a family gathering. Very nice place with a small pond. The land is adjacent to what used to be land owned by my niece's family grandparents. A little history I didn't know about. It's also just north of where the amusement park Adventureland used to be. The land the amusement park sat on was also sold to them by the grandparents. That land is...

One of my favorite trails in the area. It’s fully paved, quiet, peaceful, and an overall nice place to walk or jog. The grass is also trimmed right along the path so dogs can do their business without having to walk in super tall weeds. There’s a picnic area as well to sit and eat. The path is just a bit over a mile so it’s easy to sneak in a walk over lunch or do a couple laps at sunset.

The reservoir is beautiful. There's so many great views and vantage points from the paved trail that loops around it. There's another smaller trail that leads you down into the reservoir.

Great spot for some walking, biking, skating, or running. It's a nice big loop around a reservoir. They do have washrooms, grills, and picnic tables as well.
