One of my kids’ favorite parks, mostly because of the zip line. The pond is well fenced by the playground areas, so it’s not a concern, and the tall grass invites red winged blackbirds and lots of other species. The only problem I have with the playgrounds is that they’re so far away, it’s not possible to watch kids in both places at the same time. The porta potty is also in the far corner of the parking lot, which isn’t terrible because it’s usually a pretty quiet place, but also poses a problem when watching multiple small people. We’ve also sledded here in the winter with only minor injuries and lots of fun. My daughter played soccer at Running park this summer, and I did have the chance to observe that their baseball fields don’t seem very well maintained, and the grass isn’t really grass - it’s all weedy and it was very dry/dusty, which didn’t make for the best soccer conditions.
