This looks like a great park! I can hardly wait to find time to hop on that zip line! Two separated play areas? A huge field for activities?! A pond right here! A great parking lot. It that a concessions stand? I will be checking into the restroom situation, i think that all parks should have restrooms open year round. Then, if you look around the field using Google maps you can see that the field turns into an ice rink when it's cold enough! So, exciting!

A very modest park. We needed to kill an hour before the Mall of America opened and found this park on maps. The play equipment was simple and there were a few swings. Very cute place overall. The pond was nice and there were a lot of birds flying around. Saw quite a few Red-winged blackbirds!

One of my kids’ favorite parks, mostly because of the zip line. The pond is well fenced by the playground areas, so it’s not a concern, and the tall grass invites red winged blackbirds and lots of other species. The only problem I have with the playgrounds is that they’re so far away, it’s not possible to watch kids in both places at the same time. The porta potty is also in the far corner of the parking lot, which isn’t terrible because it’s usually a pretty quiet place, but also poses a problem when watching multiple small people. We’ve also sledded here in the winter with only minor injuries and lots of fun. My daughter played soccer at Running park this summer, and I did have the chance to observe that their baseball fields don’t seem very well maintained, and the grass isn’t really grass - it’s all weedy and it was very dry/dusty, which didn’t make for the best soccer conditions. Assuming the city is having a similar staffing shortage as everywhere else, plus a dry summer would provide an adequate explanation for these conditions; hopefully it’s only a...

A very nice park. Two playgrounds for two different ages. A nice pond that sometimes is very algae covered. Non-swimming. Two areas for playing baseball, not kept up after the season. A warming house for the winter. Two hockey rinks and a massive ice area for skating with lights. Decent...
