Even though we have had a fun day, we seen this sign and let all the girls pick a pumpkin. We take it to the counter and tell the cashier "we have 8 $2.99 pumpkins and then one $1 pumpkin" the cashier says "those are not pie pumpkins, pie pumpkins are about this size" (showing us with her hands) we say "so can you honor your sign?" The cashier says "I'm sorry we can not honor the sign" my sister in law asked if we could see a manger. There is guy at the counter and he steps in and says "I'm the owner and I'm not honoring it!" I tell the girls "I'm sorry we are not getting pumpkins to put them down" then I say "if you all can't honor a sign that one of your employees put up then we won't be back" the owner then says "don't come back." It got me really heated and I said "don't worry we won't come back and I'll make sure to let everyone know!" So if you want a company that don't go by their signs go there, if you want a company that goes by their signs don't go there! I spent almost $100 to enjoy our day only to be told "don't come back." I am very disappointed with this company and want to share my experience with all of you! Please feel free to share this post with everyone you know! In fact please share this post so everyone will know how this company...
Read moreWe had so much fun! So many activities, for a $20 entry fee, it is very much worth it! There are lots of beautiful flowers and animals in addition to fun rides and “haunted houses.” The animatronics and everything look handmade which is charming if a bit cheesy. I was especially grateful to everyone who was so kind and welcoming to my dog, he loved the hayride and was in love with the sheep and goats who seem to have loved him too! They followed him all the way down the fence line when we left! He is old, blind, and deaf but he had the time of his life being a farm dog! (I did put my dog in a diaper for the visit because I did not want him peeing on the pumpkins or flowers but this is not required!). The animals there were well cared for, from what I saw, but a bunny did escape as we were leaving. The food is a bit overpriced so I would just eat somewhere else and bring a water bottle! Play equipment was mostly new and sturdy, there was some older equipment that could do with an update but there was so much to do, you could make a whole day of it. The baby’s favorite part was the animals and the pirate show, but he was also a big fan of the ball corral and sandboxes. My favorite part was the animal farm and the...
Read moreMy family decided to drive from Lexington to the farm on Saturday November 4th for the festival they had going on that day. I saw online that the festival and farm were open until 4pm. We couldn't get there until 2:45pm, but knew that an hour would be enough time to make the kids happy. We walked through the shop, and asked the cashiers where we could purchase entry into the play area, and they directed us to the little booth just outside. We headed there and asked to purchase entry for the 4 of us, and the lady told us that they were closed and not letting anymore people back. I said that I saw on their website that they were open until 4pm, and she said that the employees were going to leave right at 4, and that they would not allow us to go back. Even after I promised we would leave before 4pm, and still offered to pay full price she still refused. We had some extremely disappointed kids. If they were going to close the play area early, they should post that the farm was open until 4pm, and play area is open until 2:30pm, or whatever time they actually closed. We had an hour round trip, and 2 very upset...
