If you only have time for one horse farm tour in Lexington, this should be it! The basic tour includes the stud farm, the nursery (mares with their foals), and the yearling barn. I didn’t know that the dam of Tacotius’ dam is the fabulous Closed Hatches. I’d been to TM a lot to see California Chrome and Duncan and his staff exhibited more courtesy than any of the dozens of farms I’ve visited. I’m delighted they’ve grown so much again as a stud farm.
