Seriously, though ... High School sports facilities are where you will find some of the most enthusiastic, talented and dedicated students, regardless of their participation in music, athletics, cheer, dance JROTC or various combinations thereof.

As a music educator I joke about the the "band field", but if any of the various groups were to be absent it wouldn't be the same!

Boerne ISD Stadium is one of the places you will find the development of grit, excellence, sportsmanship and resilience ... and it's fun...

Friday Night Lights! Boerne ISD Stadium is where home games for Boerne HS and Boerne Champion HS are played. Plenty of free parking, good concession stands, a wonderful burger shack run by/for the marching bands charcoal grills fresh burgers. There is reserved seating and general admission. Press box accessibility? Not so much.

The hand rails aren't placed along the stairways, but rather in the milddle on the bleachers where people sit and step heights are twice as large.

I had to "hire" a young lady to haul my stuff up while I used the stairs (no rails mind you) and strain my way up on bad knees. Completely backwards!
