My family and I chose an early Monday morning and we got the best spot in the park with so much space to ourselves for the whole day! The water was clear, clean, and a comfortable temperature. Schools of fish (harmless) came up to us to peck at our feet and legs, it was a fun and tickling experience! My family and my swimming team absolutely love Boerne Lake. It’s the kind of place that brings everyone together—whether we’re enjoying a peaceful picnic, kayaking across the calm waters, or diving into swim practice with the team. The lake is clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful Hill Country views that make every visit feel like a mini getaway.
There’s plenty of space for kids to play, and the atmosphere is always safe and welcoming. For our swim team, it’s a perfect outdoor training spot—refreshing, energizing, and just plain fun. We always leave feeling recharged and connected.

Read moreMy family & I love this little lake. Only $15 per car which I think is a fair price. This little park and lake are always clean and security is always active and patrolling which makes us feel extremely safe. They do allow dogs if they are on a leash and you pick up after them. You can fish here and they have a small dock where you can get your kayaks in and out of the water safely. It's about 31 feet deep so the water always feel nice. Only a few grills available so you either need to get there early or bring your own. We always bring our hammocks and plenty of chairs since there only a pavilion for rent that has seating. Bring your family, I promise you wont be disappointed! We can't wait until next...
