Cassidy Park — Attraction in Bogalusa

It was a Community Fair 4 people n the community. Franklintown, Angie, Varnado, Hammond, Some 4 profit some as out reach programs. The 2 that stuck out 2 me. Popalas Rec.Center. Run by Mr Larry Brown. The Adapt Program of Bogalusa. Run by Mister Rusty Fournier. With Mrs Champagne & her 2 Sisters of Varnado. Communities helping ea. community 2 get stronger. After all we r The Community. Bogalusa was very proud 2 b the host city. The Adapt Program did a great job as the hosting organization. Restrooms aren't family-friendly. If you need to change a diaper it'll have to be on the floor. Bench outside would be a much better option. Not much for toddlers to do as far as playground equipment. Deli in the park needs to be reopened full time and not just for special events and holidays. Also, there should be ACTUAL food served there; Sandwiches, poboys, lunch special, plate lunches.. Needs more active stuff for adults. Doing away with the tennis courts was not...

Pleasant little park in Bogalusa. Lots of little trails & ponds for walking & watching the ducks or other wildlife. Covered pavillion with picnic benches. Trails have little plaques placed throughout that tell you about the different trees & other features of the area. Restrooms on-site, but I didn't use so unsure about cleanliness, etc. Overall, the park was clean and a nice place to hang out for a couple of hours in...
