China Star — Restaurant in Bogalusa

I don’t particularly like this places food so we rarely go but it was my sons birthday & he really wanted to go. I’ve been numerous times & the chicken was not fully cooked. I try not to leave bad reviews but that has happened more than one time. Regardless, I just don’t eat the chicken now but today was icing on the cake. I will NEVER support them again. There was a homeless man that some couple was trying to buy a buffett meal for. The owner said oh no he can’t eat here because he stinks. That killed me inside, it is so hard to see someone mistreat someone else based on how they look or smell. Of course I said something... but I also won’t be supporting them ever again. This is sick & disgusting!!! Support people who love our community, there is other food out here & they don’t deserve...

When getting food off the buffet the older lady tells younger girls ringing up the food to charge me more because she sees my ID from work and charges me more so now the food I get —red beans rice and 4 pieces of meat with 2 pieces of watermelon and some jello cost me $26. Used to cost me $16. The food is sometimes left over from day before and taste old. She is over charging me and probably others. The food is looking dry out and has sooo much oil in pans with food that a person could have a heart attack eating some of that stuff—which I do not get. The China Buffet needs to get rid of older lady—she is price gouging and that is illegal! Get RID of the older lady!! She is horrible! I can not afford the cost !! And many others complain as well! My boyfriend and I go in there so much we never thought we would experience anything so horrible. They monitored our food intake and harassed us at our table. We didn't even finish eating. We were so embarrassed and Will never go again. Tip: don't waste food or u will have a horrible experience as well. We didn't even waste the food. The crab was stuck in the shell and they told us we had to use another tool 'that they didn't even have' so how were we supposed to eat the crab as they expected us to? Rude. Yelling at us.
