Payne Branch Park — Attraction in Boone

Gravel with limited but easy parking. The park is a trail with benches scattered along it with a picnic table as well. Boulders stand on one side of the trail and the river rushes past the other side....

Not nearly enough parking or any other amenities. Only seen a couple of picnic tables. I would not call this a park. I would call this a creek with enough room for two...

The stream is full and active. The grass green and lush. Lovely taste of spring. Only negative is that the trash can was overflowing. I wonder who is responsible for...
