Absolutely stunning in all seasons. There is a sweet little beach in Grimes Cove that is rocky in some places, but has noticeably more sand near or at low tide. We're blessed to be living here year around. There's so many fun things to do in the off season, and regardless of the weather. Read moreIf you visit the Boothbay area of Maine it is well worth the trip out to Ocean Point to experience the beautiful scenery that you will see there. What you see will leave you in awe at how majestic it is, you can see four lighthouses here, three close by and one in the far distance if you know where to look. You can sit on a big rock and listen to the waves of ocean wash in which is mesmerizing. I once years ago saw the northern lights from this point at night which was amazing. Read moreWow such a beautiful place. You have to go there if you are visiting that area, Boothbay, Maine. Especially if you like to climb huge rocks! The rocks seem endless, and they border the water! Such a fun time with my husband. I don’t understand why people are giving this only three or four stars, then saying that it’s a short walk?? It’s an entire morning or afternoon walk! I guess they didn’t walk too far on the rocks?! So pay no mind to those reviewers :) You will love this place. Oh and the little beach there...
