DOG OWNERS- WE DON'T LIKE YOUR DOGS AROUND OUR SMALL CHILDREN. KEEP AWAY.

Anyway- This playground just got finished being built and sadly I'm underwhelmed. I went during a weekday, late morning in late spring.

Pros: -new equipment, unique items -swings -large playground area -something for smaller as well as larger children -lots of seating options for adults, and picnic tables

Cons: -on a hilltop, so it's rather windy -the water fountain is on the other side of the only fenced area, so children have to leave the playground and go near the parking lot to get a drink (?) -it is not fenced on the opposite side, so it is very easy for small children to escape/wander off or get lost in the bushes (?!) -zero accessible shade from trees, so on bright days there's no escape from the sun -no splash pad -and last but definitely the worst, this place was CRAWLING with unleashed dogs (6-7 of them? at least?!) even though there were many small children and a sign outside the gate saying that all dogs, even unleashed ones, do not belong

I heard several times "don't worry, he doesn't bite, haha." Do you know that a dog never bites twice, because dogs that bite once get put down? Have you ever seen someone bitten by a dog? I have. Dogs and small children are a terrible mix. KEEP YOUR ANIMALS AWAY. THEY DO NOT BELONG IN A...

This playground was recently redone and has an older kid and little kids section. It’s got a main climbing structure with only two slides. It’s a huge space that I feel like they could have included more things to do, such as additional slides or climbing structures. The little kids area only has two swings and two tiny slides. My other complaint is it’s not fully fenced in, especially near the little kids section. I feel like a kid can wander off the edge and fall into the shrubbery. I appreciate all rubbery surface material for softer landing and the many benches and sitting areas around the edge. There are two picnic tables. There is really no shade yet, maybe the trees will grow in but they could use some of those triangle canopies. But it is new and nicely landscaped...

Modern playground- more like. Play town, with lots of inspirational play areas for all ages. Plenty of parking, and porta-potties for when they have to go…

Lots of seating for parents. My favorite is the ropes course , with plenty of ways to challenge your little monkey. ...
