More like unruly dog park. People walking multiple dogs (sometimes 5+) without leash. Not collecting dog poop, so it’s everywhere(around kayak launch point). We were near kayak launch point and 5 dogs jumped /barked on us(and our toddler ) from water and jumped on us makeing us and our son wet. - owner (or walker) didn’t even bother to say anything. We couldn’t even move because dogs were just all around us. My son was terrified and started crying - still owner (walker) didn’t even bother to call them. When we requested them to put dogs on leash, so we can at least move around- she started making faces, until we had to ask firmly. When we came back from kayaking, we had 10+ dogs (unleashed) barking and jumping, making extremely difficult to move around. Park management either should create separate space for dog walking or limit number of dogs walkers can walk - 5 dog unleashed, how do they manage/control them and...

There are paved pathways that go all around the park including ramps leading you up or down to the different levels. The Great blue Heron trail makes its way through the park also, becoming the wooded path found on the bottom level at the back side of the park. River...
Read moreSUPERB walking place and also for throwing or kicking a ball around, frisbee, you name it. Well maintained! Great walking/hiking trails off of the park as well towards Needham. However if you go on the dirt roads towards Needham over the pedestrian bridge inside the park and its the wet season or having rained, bring galoshes, bcs your shoes WILL get wet!. This park in general is a great place to bring your pooch, bcs its so big, a LOT of people let their dogs run around and play free, however there are signs about having them onleash.. Its too tempting to just let em run around and play with the other free roaming dogs. Overall a great place, it is HUGE. There is also the kayak launch into the Charles...
