It looks confusing at first. Go past the sign, past the abandoned house, and start up the trail behind the chain link fence (as pictured). You can expect a steep incline, and for it to take you 10-20 min up depending on your fitness. It goes up to a neighborhood. It’s an alright little workout if you live close by. Nothing to write home about with only having one short trail (unless there is another entrance from another side of the park??). It really isn’t clearly marked. There is no information anywhere. You do hear the roaring freeway throughout, but I’m still glad this land is preserved!

Undeveloped land, no amenities: no bathrooms or playground structures. There is a loop trail through the property, but it is pretty rough; at times, you need to climb over downed trees, so wear sturdy shoes. Look for/follow little pink flags that mark the route.

It’s really confusing, where this park started, and where to park a car. But it’s really beautiful here. I know that students from UW helped transform a half-acre of North Creek Forest from a neglected eyesore to a haven teeming with life and that’s really great.

"Bothell's best kept secret, but not for long! North Creek Forest is a stunning sanctuary nestled in the heart of the city. Preservation and restoration of NCF is backed by one of the most passionate volunteer armies I've ever encountered. Friends of North Creek Forest (FNCF) deserves a big shout out for adding fuel to the conservation fire. I've grown both professionally and personally through my interactions and internship with FNCF. North Creek Forest is creating a ripple effect throughout the surrounding communities, spurring a new-found interest in forging a stronger bond with the...

If you feel like a little walk through a forest for a nice change to the neighborhoods, this is the place for you. In certain areas the paths are steep and there are some streams to cross as well, so make sure that you are agile enough! Also, in rainy seasons it is best to wear boots because of the muddy ground. Otherwise, North Creek Forest is a really nice place to feel like you are taking a little hike even though you are still in the city. You might even...
