Best Tour and family you could ever hope to meet - made the trip of a lifetime!!!! We went to the mine with my entire family as this was a bucket list for my Dad who has been diagnosed with cancer. When we arrived we were wowed by the entire set up so many unique and old items from years gone by it was really hard to stop looking. We went in to sign up for the tour when we arrived there were already about 9 other people going on the tour. We spoke with the daughter of the owners Roxanne - she was amazing we explained our circumstances and we wanted to know if Dad could navigate the mine with a wheelchair in tow or his cane. She was the sweetest person she immediately offered to split our family up from the group already going and had solutions on how to accommodate my Dad, she suggested we drive him to the mine entrance and said we would go at a pace comfortable for him and they had chairs throughout the mine for a place for him to sit to rest if needed. This is not something they normally do, the ground is quite uneven in the mine definitely no room for a wheelchair... but sometimes you just meet the right people who care and they were those people. We thoroughly enjoyed the mine the history and their family- great tour we all said after we want to do it again as we didn't get to see everything in their little town and we would just love to see them again. Really amazing people - my Dad wanted to adopt Roxanne because 4 daughters and a son aren't enough and mostly because she fit right in with our crew. When we were done they had great suggestions on driving down the road to see the Colorado river. they also did the dearest thing for my dad - he wanted to be able to pan for gold and while they do not do this ever, they did this one time for him and for us. He has told me several times since our return that the goldmine could never be topped and that it was the trip of a lifetime!!! Thanks so much to Roxanne and Tony and Roxanne's Mom - sorry I don't think I ever got her name - in my book they are all...
Read moreThis review is long overdue. We were married at this amazing place on Nov 19, 2015. When we initially called we were greeted with a friendly voice and we knew the fact that it was family run meant that were in safe hands. We were both from different countries (Canada and Scotland) so you can imagine our nerves planning a wedding online when we had only seen photos. Those nerves were unfounded; it was a fantastic spot! Our photographer was just as excited as we were. You book your time ahead and pay when you get there. Bobbie and family were the nicest. sweetest people you could hope to meet. We were warmly welcomed and honestly have such a great memory of meeting them and their grandkids who happened to be visiting (who cheered for us at the end!!) . The location is a photographer's dream - so many cool cars, antiques, buildings and points of interest. Will definitely go back to relive that wonderful day. People commented to us that they were some of the best, unique wedding photos they'd seen....
Read moreJensen was totally professional and gave us an experience of a lifetime. We came to celebrate our getting married in Vegas and we had ZERO complaints. He had all sorts of knowledge on the history of the area we visited..and he also was able to help us navigate which terminal to be in on our flight the following day. If you can request someone specific I'd say choose him! We had the luxury of being the only ones booked on his tour for that tour so it made it even that more amazing! We didn't even know he was taking pictures but he managed to get 35! He also made sure we weren't dehydrated our entire tour and let us take it at our own pace. Because I hyperextended my knee the night before he let us do the tour of the canyon before the ATV ride in the van he picked us up in. He also dropped us off at the resort we were staying in. We so appreciate the time and fun we had with you Jenson 1000x would go again and request you...
