We did this thru a tour company called National Park Express. Our driver/tour guide was Panda and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable. We had a slight issue trying to get into the Hoover Dam that day as a fatality had happened on the road that goes into the park, so after about an hour of redirection, he was able to get us in thru a different entrance. He came thru for us and we were extremely appreciative. Only thing I wish had happened was that we would of gotten to walk on the Dam itself. We did the bridge in front of it and the store behind it. Not sure if that was bc of the time loss trying to get there or if that was the normal tour. I would recommend, if you can, driving yourself so you can explore on your own. However some things were still not open due to covid. So maybe soon they will open back up. Otherwise, amazing experience....

It would have been more pleasant to be able to access/exit the east entry rather than having a giant deadend road (culdesac). The facilities allowed for intermingling of pedestrians/visitors and motor vehicles. The entry restrooms at/near the security check were clearly inadequate for the volume of visitors coming off the freeway...this being the first stop available from the...

We frequent the Hoover dam anytime we come to Las Vegas. We like to go there and check out the water levels and see what they have done.

Security has always been kind and gets us through the line very quickly.

I would definitely recommend anyone to go out to who or damn if you're in the area and able to check it out. I also would recommend going on the tour...

It is worth a stop at some point in your life. But it is a one and done kind of place. Sad to see how low the water levels are. And I am thankful for the time saving the new bridge provides travelers. But it did remove a cool history aspect of the drive and now you have to make it a point to see the dam thing!
