Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center — Attraction in Boulder Creek

I enjoyed an informal watercolor class i took there a couple of weeks ago. The class was 3 sessions. We did the class outside in their courtyard and even though the days were hot there was just enough shade to keep us from getting too hot. The only thing I would like to see if this or a similar class is offered again is maybe a little bit more time (either add a session or increase each session by an hour) so that we can explore the new techniques we learned a little bit more. I surprised my boyfriend with the metal clay dome pendant class where we got to learn how to make pendants from metal clay! Our instructor was Rae Rodriguez, who is very knowledgeable on the subject, she is amazing, talented, patient, fun, all around wonderful teacher! Rae hosted our Google Design team for a day of Metal Clay Jewelry making as a team building offsite. It was a fun-filled day and Rae brought a great energy to the group, managing a large group of 15 by engaging them in a very approachable and personable way. The class pace was great, no one felt rushed but things kept moving and we all left with finished real silver artifacts!...
