The building was definitely the coolest part of this whole place. The architecture of the building inside and out is very interesting. The crazy amount of windows give you an amazing view of the outside from within. Part of the roof is a live garden with plants and bushes growing on it. There are plenty of spots to sit and have lunch or just relax. There was an art exhibit on display when I was there with some painting of artists from 100 years ago and some present artists. I wasn't aloud to take any pictures of the artwork unfortunately. The Mile long walking trail was a little buggy with not much to see along the way. They do have a small flower and pollinater garden by the parking lot on the way to the building.

A pleasant 1.4 mile trail leaves and returns from the Summer Star Sanctuary which is worth a visit especially when the visitors center is open. The visitors center is an exceptional, LEED gold certified building with displays inside. It's free to visit. The path goes through varied terrain through a forest of oak and pine and has a couple nice boardwalk sections and a lovely stream off the small dogleg that extends east off the main path.

Amazing nature Gem. . Preserved trail . Short one approximately 40 12:55 hour walk. There is a boardwalk for a short distance since it was summer. There was hardly any water on the other side, but the walk was absolutely great. It is fun for all ages. . Definitely should visit log architecture call the trailhead house. It’s pretty cool. The visitor center lady was absolutely nice. She showed us the entire space and the sun terrace. .
