We were so excited to finally visit the Nest, as it is only open on Saturdays for a few hours, and it truly is a hidden gem. My son, who loves to climb, thoroughly enjoyed himself on the various ropes and climbing areas. Despite a bit of rain, we were able to take shelter inside, and the park rangers were incredibly helpful, sharing fascinating information about the local wildlife. My son had a wonderful time playing with other children while learning interesting facts about animals and the environment. The playground area is so unique and very shady so it makes it the perfect play spot for the Florida heat plus it’s not like your typical playground you find at every park so the kids loved it a little more. The event building is a unique piece of architecture too and I think it would be pretty awesome to rent the space out for something. The outdoor setting is spectacular for the ceremony and the NEST tree house is a dream and fun area for kids and adults as well with the tree tops slides and nets.
