"The NEST" at Robinson Preserve — Attraction in Bradenton

We were so excited to finally visit the Nest, as it is only open on Saturdays for a few hours, and it truly is a hidden gem. My son, who loves to climb, thoroughly enjoyed himself on the various ropes and climbing areas. Despite a bit of rain, we were able to take shelter inside, and the park rangers were incredibly helpful, sharing fascinating information about the local wildlife. My son had a wonderful time playing with other children while learning interesting facts about animals and the environment. We really enjoyed this little preserve!! The playground area is so unique and very shady so it makes it the perfect play spot for the Florida heat plus it’s not like your typical playground you find at every park so the kids loved it a little more. The event building is a unique piece of architecture too and I think it would be pretty awesome to rent the space out for something. I love the landscaping and the fact that there are covered picnic shelters right by the water, the views are so beautiful. The NEST at Robinson Preserve is the perfect location for a small, intimate wedding. We recently photographed a micro wedding there and it was an amazing experience. The outdoor setting is spectacular for the ceremony and the NEST tree house is a dream and fun area for kids and adults as well with the tree tops slides and nets.
