One of Manatee county's best preserves! Love the expansion area and the fact that the trail is "cushy!" Also love the views of the original trails and the little nooks that lead to the water and views of the Skyway bridge. Makes exercise easy! There are multiple inclines like going over the bridges, multiple trails that are either paved, shell rock or the new cushy trail that I believe is compressed rubber mulch. Also get extra cardio in by climbing the stairs to the top of the tower! Then when you get to the top of the tower, you're rewarded with beautiful views of the preserve! Lots of wildlife to see like birds, crabs and rabbits! There are even multiple areas to have a picnic! Love...

Honestly, there is no end to the blues and greens of nature at this preserve. Other highlights are the observation tower, paved/natural/boardwalk paths, access to water, places to have a picnic and more play areas for kids. Great for biking, kayaking, strolling, running, walking, etc. MUST visit! We even considered naming our newest family addition, our second son, 'Robinson' as his...
