Me and my friend both took time off from work in the middle of the week, to come down for the experience, and also rented a hotel for the night close by and was told in advance that it was OK to book the afternoon ride as we were coming from out of town and my friend was just getting off of an overnight shift. We drove all the way down and was there on time to start. When we arrive we were told by the guide that the weather was looking really bad and that it was going to be lightning and all types of bad weather by the time the ride started so they declined to take us on the ride. I checked the weather report on my own and saw nothing of the sort and had been checking all week. We sat out there the entire time that the ride was supposed to start to the time the ride was supposed to end and not one time was there any lightning or anything besides a little drizzle of rain, which stopped after only about 10 minutes. We went back to the guide before they left about the weather report they had seen, and she rolled her eyes as though she was being annoyed when we drove all the way down, spent our money, already paid for the experience, got a hotel took time off our jobs and everything only to basically be turned away with what seemed like the purpose that the guide did not want to take any more rides for the day and wanted to leave. I understand wanting to wrap up for the rest of the day, but not when you have paying clients who have traveled to have this experience and have confirmed several times if that was the case why even book an afternoon ride if that’s not something you wanted to do. We just felt like it was a big slap in the face and it ruined our time and the birthday celebration that we were there on. I have lived in Florida, my entire life as you can see the skies are completely clear there is no way there was going to be a major storm in the next few moments. Which it definitely wasn’t.
Response to your response: no one ever asked you to put your horses in danger we would not want that and how is it that you dare call us greedy when we paid you in advance and furthermore we had zero intentions of ever booking with you all again. Sorry my review was not what you wanted it to be but it’s my honest opinion about what happened And I have every right to add the review about the situation and the...
Read moreProbably because you are robbing people. My husband booked this excursion for my 40th birthday, we paid in advance and unfortunately couldn’t make it, to reschedule for another date it would cost 100$ we decided that we couldn’t commit to another date so we were willing to loose our 350$ we paid already, now they sent an email saying they are charging us another 50$ for their inconvenience, we paid you 350$ for nothing. This is a trash company. Don’t book with them. Update, they also don’t communicate and blocked me on facebook and instagram for warning people of their scams. I paid them 400$ and received no service. Small claims court in the future for this company. In response to the classy owner, we live 4 hours away, I was not sick 48 hours ago. We couldn’t make it for my 40th birthday and were devastated, we were considering paying the 100$ rebooking fee but couldn’t be sure of a date by 7 pm. We never asked for a refund and still had plans to rebook and pay in full when we could have been sure we could make it. You sent my husband an email telling us u were charging us another 50$ because we simply couldn’t get there and that is what the issue is. It’s also illegal because we paid in full for the service. You are a terrible business owner and should be embarrassed and ashamed. The reason you have proof u didn’t charge us the additional 50$ is because my husband canceled his credit card the second he received your email. So the extra inconvenience fee was denied. Thank u for the birthday wishes though! I truly appreciate your snarky response that just shows everyone the type of person you are. In regards to you comment about the type of person I am, I’m an animal lover who was looking forward to meeting and riding horses into the sunset. That’s why I begged my husband to book this for my...
Read moreI had the most incredible sunset horse ride experience from start to finish! From the moment I made the booking until the very last moments of the ride, I was treated to a truly exceptional adventure. I can't say enough about Sydney and Mercedes, our amazing hosts who made the entire experience unforgettable.
The ride itself was amazing. As we ventured through picturesque landscapes, I was in awe of the breathtaking views that surrounded us. But what made the ride even more special were Mercedes's captivating stories. Her passion and knowledge truly enhanced the whole experience, making it both educational and entertaining. We were also treated to some close ups with a pod of dolphins.
To cherish the memories, I opted for the picture package, and it was well worth it. The photos beautifully captured the essence of the event, allowing me to relive the magical moments again and again. And let's not forget about the horse snacks! It was a delightful touch that added an extra level of fun to the ride. Pinto, Tim, Athenos, and Bruce will definitely appreciate the gesture!
Overall, I can't recommend this sunset horse ride experience enough. The professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail provided by Sydney, Mercedes, and the entire team were top-notch. It's an adventure that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for creating such an extraordinary and...
