It's a wonderful place with lots of walking paths, shaded faces, and open spaces for picnics. This is a great place to have friends, particularly if you're a church or a larger group. Kayaking or simply enjoying the scenery as the water floats on by is possible in the ample space along the water. If you go, keep in mind that mosquitoes are medium-fierce. Great and only park on the water that we can legally take our dogs on a leash to. We tried to take the to the beach on Anna Maria Island and between 3 dogs and a $500.00 fine for each one illegally the beach, it cost 1500.00 for an hour on the beach on the island.
