Beautiful for relaxing and watching boats pass through. Not a good place to swim. You are not allowed in the water and the current is strong. Annoying and sad how many times Officers or Life Guards have to drive through to tell people... that can't read the giant signs that say Do Not Enter the Water... to get out of the water! Today I spent 2 hours removing fishing line that is wrapped all over the mangroves on the east side of the bridge. We saw 2 birds with some wrapped on their feet too! If u are going to fish please be responsible for your trash ESPECIALLY fishing line! Clearly maintenance doesn't have time to remove it so unless someone cares enough to remove the endless amounts of fishing line it will continue to harm wildlife. Such a sad thing to see. Oh and if you wonder why it smells so bad under the bridge the mystery has been solved....drug users hang in the mangroves under the bridge all night vomiting and urinating and sometimes are still sleeping in there when people start arriving in the morning to fish. So please beware of your surroundings and your belongings if arriving early. They seem to clear out as they wake up but leave lots of trash and say...

Beautiful natural beach uncluttered by man made scenery. The family picnic area is hidden by natural seaside vegetation with sand pathways to travel to the beach. Weekends can be a little noisy with the younger Latino crowd playing their music way too loud. Other than that it's enjoyable. There is a natural reef not far offshore for snorkeling enthusiasts. Be careful of rip tides when the tide flows through the pass. Inexperienced swimmers should keep track of high and...

Beautiful beach with (pre covid) lots of commercial and community activity! This area has a cafe overlooking the ocean, beach volley ball, public outdoor grills, a shaded walking trail adjacent to the beach and a child park for kids to play in. Prior to covid, there were arts and craft fairs, volley ball tournaments, lots of weddings, etc..

This is one of my favorite destinations on the west coast! Definitely a great place to relax and...

Beautiful spot at Coquina Beach where you can see the bay on your one side and the gulf of Mexico on the other. Water color is beautiful! No swimming in the channel, the currents are very strong... But you can swim in the gulf side at coquina. Love the view here!
