Rain Wellness Spa — Attraction in Branford

I will not be going back to Rain! I scheduled a spray tan appointment for 5:15 pm and was left in the wellness room for 45 minutes before anyone came to tell me that they were running behind. After the employee had left the wellness area I was thing kept waiting for another 20 minutes! I should have left. The employee who had done the spray tan was very nice. After she was done I had went back down to reception to pay and was asked if I was going to leave gratuity on the card or would I like to leave money in an envelope. In my opinion this was horrible customer service! You do not ask for a tip and how did the lady at reception know that I didn't tip the lady before she had left!.

I was also told that the tan would last for a week and it only lasted 2 days! I called to see if I could get any kind of refund but was denied! This place is horrible and I will NEVER...

Extremely disappointed, after reading so many good reviews I was disappointed with my first visit.

I called to make an appointment for a spray tan appointment, and was told since I was in a wedding Saturday to come in Thursday. When I went there for the appointment the girl doing my spray tan recommended the fast developing one and told me not to shower for 4 hours. I followed directions, waited the 4 hours and showered. I woke up the next morning, extremely orange and streaky. When I called Rain back to ask for advice that morning the girl just told me there was no way I could be orange since their spray tan is mostly purple and that there was a miscommunication and I should have showered an hour after the tan. Nothing was offered to me for advice, nor did they try and make things right and help fix it.

Never again. I would not...

This was my first time, at rain. I get massages once or twice a month, and I love to try new places.

I’m so beyond disappointed. First it is a little expensive, paying the extra money I really thought I was gonna be taken care off, and walk out relaxed. This was not the case. This was by far the worst I’ve ever gotten. I paid extra money for someone to rub me with scented oil. I was never asked how I wanted the massage, soft, medium or hard. Not a single muscle was massages. She put her elbow in one of my shoulder blades for maybe 20 seconds and that is generous. My spouse gives me better massages and she has no idea what she is doing. Total waste of money. More stress from when I walked in, I don’t even know how that’s possible. I’m shocked, and honestly so...
