This is your typical covered bridge in New England. You don’t have to pay to go look at it and it looks like it’s been very well. Taken care of unlike other covered bridges in New England. You cannot drive over this bridge anymore. You can probably take your bicycle or if you need a wheelchair accessible you can do that too. There are no bathrooms at this location, but there is parking in a lot in the back that can fit about 15 to 20 cars so if you wanna stop off and take some pictures go for it there is a little plaque explaining the history of the bridge and to walk from one side of the bridge to the other was 30 seconds, you can see where the old electrical lines used to run through the top do some insulators that are still there. If you like covered bridges come check this out. I know there are plenty in Vermont. If you do need a bathroom there looks like there was a baseball field nearby with a swimming pool and it looks like he used to be a ski resort at one point less than...

Closed to traffic but open for pedestrians, the Creamery Covered Bridge was built in 1879 and is a Town lattice truss design. It does have a vehicle lane (closed to traffic in 2010) as well as a pedestrian lane that was added 40 years later - you can walk both easily.

The bright red bridge crosses Whetstone Brook and is a very short distance from the Interstate. You really have no excuse for not stopping to check out this fabulous piece of architecture, Brattleboro's last surviving 19th-century covered bridge.

The bridge is the centerpiece of a small park where there is parking and there are some benches. It's a nice stop in...

The bridge was very picturesque however there wasn't much to see besides the bridge, which was right off of a main road - unless you were making a point of visiting covered bridges. The bridge in and of itself was not remarkable but the area was well maintained, there was plenty of parking and you didn't have to cross any streets to visit the bridge which made it a nice stop. We were the only ones there and visited for about 30 minutes - which was plenty of time to enjoy the bridge and the surrounding scenery while taking a...

Our favorite Christmas tradition has been a visit to the Creamery Covered Bridge (bridge is retired from active service), located in Brattleboro (southern Vermont) to have a look at the Christmas tree display for that year - ❄️ *This is the tree from Christmas 2024, can't wait to see what they've done for this holiday season - hoping there were be snow again *fingers & toes crossed!* ❄️ A hidden gem & a local favorite❤️ #vermont #newengland #hiddengem #christmasvibes #sightseeing
