Well-kept trail with interesting information about mining practices and the remains of the effects on the environment. We only did out and back from the dredge because we had a toddler with us. (Definitely a kid friendly hike that’s less busy than trails in town.) Mostly sun exposed with shady spots here and there so make sure to bring sunscreen and water. Didn’t get too hot though and there’s lot of place to stop a take breaks. We had a little snack at the mid point. Good amount of room for parking and we did see a handful of people but not super busy so we got space and time by...

The trailhead was easy to find and there was ample room for parking. The trail was gentle and would be easy for most types of hikers. However, it was a little muddy on our May 21 hike. We encountered several patches of snow and these were often knee high. But the path is beautiful and scenery is very nice. I would describe them as rolling woodlands. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this hike, but next time in this area I will definitely...

Very scenic trail, amazing mountain views, most of the old mining camps are disassembled. There is a lot of tree shade.

The trail is a bit confusing to navigate, we used the ALL TRAILS APP and downloaded the trail, which saved us a ton of time not getting lost, lol.

Trail markings are not marked on each turn, more like every 3 or so turns.
