The golf course itself and the scenery are incredible. The beer cart and check in staff were absolutely fantastic and helped us work through a couple of tee time issues. If we could grade the club on these factors alone it would be a 4.5/5 experience…
However, this course obviously overbooked. They booked an early bachelor party that put the pace of play back by 30 minutes. Which normally is fine, but then they sent rangers out at 4 different holes to give you a hard time about pace of play. Behind us there were two, 2-somes and we were waiting behind a group on every tee box.
We wouldn’t have cared about the slow pace of play, but the rangers at this course are robots who don’t pay any attention to what is actually occurring on the course and then give people a hard time for nothing. You pay close to $300-400 after golf/drinks and food and then get harassed by the staff while you’re stuck waiting on every hole.
Still a beautiful course and well kept, worth the experience. Management needs to train rangers to chill out, this isn’t...
Read moreHonestly, I’m very disappointed in my most recent trip to Breckenridge golf club. I booked 3 rounds of 18 holes, and had poor experiences 2 of the 3 rounds. The rain check policy was not properly communicated to me, so I paid for 18 holes for my partner and I, got rained out, and received no rain check.
Secondly, the driving range seems to not be open before tee times in the morning. You think they could find a way to make sure the driving range is open before prime tee times, but nope, they struggle in that department as well.
Lastly, I found the tee marshals slightly disrespectful. Telling me to speed up play, when I literally cannot speed up play due to waiting for groups in front of me, makes no sense.
All in all, I paid for a great weekend of golf, and only found myself frustrated by the poor customer service of Breckenridge golf. I’m looking forward to playing elsewhere in the...
Read moreMe and 3 of my girl friends were all excited to play 9 holes well before sunset. The cart guys greeted us and were so polite as they loaded up our bags. Then we went to the counter to pay and the first guy to greet us looked at me personally like I just spilled red wine on his floor as he rudely told me that we could not golf because the last tee time was 6:30pm.
Me and my girl friends looked at each other in disbelief because it doesn't get dark till 8:30pm. I tried pleading with him, but he then confirmed with the other golf attendent behind the counter that we were not permitted to golf past 6:30.
We went from being soooo excited to soooo disappointed. I will never golf at Breckenrdige again and I am posting this experience on facebook. Avoid these rude guys...
