Read moreThis park is the location of and has the old ruins of the original Baylor College. There are a couple of historic buildings on the property. There are swings there for the kids. There is a picnic table available. The beautiful overgrown trees here are well worth the visit to this park. In the spring the blubonnets bloom along with other wildflowers. If you have the patience to sit for a while you will see butterflies fluttering through the flowers. Not much is located around this area so be sure to bring water or other drinks along for the kids or yourself. Take the 20 minute drive into Brenham and go to Must Be Heaven for lunch after your visit here. They have great chicken salad!
