I had the most amazing experience at Diablo Cherries in Brentwood! This place is a hidden gem if youâre a fan of fresh, delicious cherriesâand honestly, who isnât? They offer an impressive variety of cherries, from sweet to slightly tart, and each type is perfectly ripe and juicy. Itâs such a treat to sample different kinds and find your favorite (spoiler: I couldnât pick just one!). The farm itself is absolutely beautifulâneatly kept, easy to navigate, and surrounded by peaceful countryside views. Itâs the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and sharing tips on the best picking spots. You can really tell they care about what they do and take pride in their farm. Thereâs something special about picking your own fruit and supporting local growers. If youâre in the areaâor even if youâre notâitâs well worth the trip. Skip the grocery store cherries and experience...

We arrived later Sunday (May/15/2022) afternoon, it was busy, but ample parking available. Easy entry, it was our first time, so we asked for a bit of guidance to the ripe/ready to pick area. The suggested spot was a hit. Easily filled 2 buckets, with an abundance of pickings still around. A family lounged nearby with a blanket in shade, while older kids and parents picked. It was quiet, and a genuine CA fruit pick experience. Knowing these cherries are shipped worldwide and we can drive up to pick, is just AWESOME! We will definitely be back! $4/lb by weight. Each bucket ~10-12 lbs Cute photo area with traditional farm truck Saw an ice cream truck, no other facilities(ports-johns), garbage bins on main trails for cleanup. Cash preferred, but...
Read moreWent with friends to Diablo Cherries because they have raved about this place for years. Oh My Gosh they were right! Big sweet cherries, easy to pick without needing a ladder. Such a fun, family-friendly day! Thanks to the helpful owners, Tobi and Jack, for advice on how to store the fruit at home to keep it fresh for longer. That wonderful cherry dessert I was planning as I filled my buckets never happened because back at home I couldn't stop snacking on them. A "double" - 2 cherries that have grown together - is one big mouthful of juicy yumminess. Guess I'll have to go back and pick more for that pie before the season ends! And definitely looking forward to going back...
