I'm not from the area, but decided to take the pups here to kill some time while my son was working at the church up the street. I did read reviews about it being a bit of a walk, but really didn't think it was going to be THAT FAR 🥴. Google dumped me at a parking lot off Concord and I asked someone for directions from that lot. I ended up having to walk down Concord and cross right on Heritage and through the greenway. The signage was a bit confusing as well. We walked (in the heat I might add) for at least a mile. We found it eventually. By this time the dogs were hot and needed water, running straight to the fountain, which didn't work!!OMG . We found a small bowl and filled it up. I refused to walk all the way back in the direction that I came, so I GPS'ed walking directions back to Concord Rd. It turned out to be a short walk (0.1 miles or less) back to the road (through some closed gate). We waited for traffic to clear and just ran across the road back to the parking lot. It was a nice park and all, but we won't be back unless we just happen to be walking that greenway, in cooler weather I...
Read moreThis is a great, medium-sized dog park, but it’s not super close to the road or easy to get to. I have picture instructions below. If you go to the Concord library light, take a left at that light (if you’re coming from the highway direction) go straight until you see the dog park sign by a parking lot on the right (first picture). Park, then walk through the tunnel (3rd pic). After the tunnel, walk toward the bathrooms and veer left (4th pic). Go on the trail through the pretty tree canopy (5th pic), and then you’ll see the large dog park on the left! It’s spacious, nice, small waking area, lots of places for agility training, water for pups, my...
Read moreThis dog park was fantastic and I enjoyed it and my dog loved it too. Make sure you park close by (the Brentwood Library or rec center) then you’ll find a pathway. It was confusing because I didn’t know but there is like a short walk to the park ( don’t worry is not long). There are two sections (big and small dogs), IT IS FENCED :) , and an obstacle course. When I went there were many other dogs (weekend) so my dog loved the company (don’t worry it’s wasn’t crowed or anything like that). But it’s...
