I've been going to BB3 for 30 years now. I'll never forget waking up early in the summer to ride the free white beach bus that would drop us kids all off at BB1 & we would trek down to BB3. Seeing the same faces regularly. Amazing lifeguards staffed. The same clean sand, ocean & facilities. Enjoying delicious NJ breakfast sandwiches. Followed by cheese fries & ice cream for lunch. While there have been changes over the years, it is still my favorite place on Earth. Whether relaxing & reading a book, boogie boarding or surfing, fishing, playing a game of football or volleyball, doing yoga, or catching up with friends & neighbors...it is always the greatest experience. Over time, they've added additional parking, rentable personal storage lockers, a long walkway with a beach mat making it easier to carry your beach items/wheeled accessories. They have a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a snack stand, restrooms, outdoor showers to get the sand off yourself & your boards, a daily board with temperature & tide information, trash cans etc If you forget your wetsuit or surfboard- you can rent one for the day in the parking lot for a small fee (this guy has saved the day countless times for my kids!). As a lifelong local- I want to keep this perfect place a secret...but I know it's too good not to share with everyone. (We still get pre-MDW & post Labor Day all...

I had no idea these Brick beaches existed until this year. What a great find! The beaches are super clean and staff is extremely friendly. They have restrooms, concessions, and on select days there is a company to rent surf/paddleboards and give lessons. The walk from the car to the beach is just a few steps! The waves are a nice size (without being overwhelming) and lifeguards are on duty during the day. Price is more than reasonable. Kids 12 and under are free. Badges for the beach and parking can be purchased from the parks & department to...

A pretty beach, although it's narrow and was very crowded when we visited. A decent amount of friendly and competent lifeguards was appreciated. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained, and there is a nice covered patio area with picnic seating and a food service area with some good breakfast and lunch items as well as ice cream and beverages, pretty reasonably priced. $5 to park (with abundant parking) and $8 to get on the beach makes it one of the best deals around. PS - there was a whale sighting later in the day! We...

Visited the last two weekends of the summer. Found parking in the lot and beach was full but comfortable. Everyone was respectful, lifeguards were busy and keeping an eye on the rough undertow.
