The food was great a little expensive $15.00 a plate this after paying $5.00 to get in. It was very crowded and if you needed a wheelchair or jazzy or anything like that there really wasn't any room for that. Other than eat there really wasn't anything else to do. You could sit and listen to the music and if you were close enough you could watch the dancers. You could dance but I went with 2 of my mother's cousins and I'm not a dancer and don't know how to do the polka. Not much fun watching others dance. I did get to see there Young dancers do some traditional dancers I guess they had just come back from a compilation. They the organization didn't have the band or anyone try to get people to come up and learn how to do any of the dances. But you could sit and drink lots of beer if you are a beer drinker of which I am not. I did like when the Youth dancers were dancing the band leader announced they were doing a window dance. He said the word for window in Germany was Fenst I was intrigued my brother Dennis's last name was Fenstamaker so that was pretty cool. The place where you got your food wasn't really close to a place to sit down so you had to carry your food there wasn't any offering to carry your plate if you had problems walking. I was using my cane that day. There was one tent selling German articles I bought some tee shirts and some socks. I did have a good time. Basically it was a sit...

We had a blast, great fun, food, music & dancing. I highly recommend visiting & even becoming a member of the German...

I’m from Cleveland, so the only downside is that this is an hour away, but it’s worth the...
