The nature center has beautiful, interactive wildlife displays and some real wildlife native to the area, including Big Snappy, an very old, friendly snapping turtle! There is also a play room with lots of books and toys for the kiddos. Staff are always accommodating and helpful.

Just WOW to this whole entire place! I didn't actually explore every bit of it yesterday but what I did, was amazing! Big Snappy the snapping turtle in the Nature Center though, that is where I left my heart. If you go and do nothing else there, go see this fella.🐢🥰

We discovered the nature center while on our scavenger hunt. It is a very interesting and fun place. This is a great place to bring the children and let them see and learn about local wildlife. I highly recommend this place for a family outing.

Beautiful place, plenty for the kids to do and a great place to spend time with family and friends. Shelter and party room rentals for birthday parties, wedding showers, and baby showers. Very clean and up to date, and in the summer time there is a very cute little splash pad open for children of all ages to play on when they get hot at the play grounds or tired of riding the miniature train. All around beautiful great family...

We enjoyed our visit to the Nature center, I appreciate that it is free since there is not many places you can go for free, except it does cost $2.00 to bring your car inside the park but they do have free parking on each side of the park so that gives you the option of not having to pay the parks entrance fee. everyone is nice, and I look forward to coming back.we also enjoyed our walk at steele creek, such a...

Very nice find. It costs$2 for parking. And there's was alot of stuff to do. Playgrounds, splash pad, train rides, boat rides and those only cost a buck per person. There's a nature center that was free to walk through as well. Not to mention plenty of shelter and picnic tables even along the creek. Will be going...
