Should be noted this dog park isn't entirely fenced, only the smaller dog area is completely fenced. City of Brookfield does 4th of July fireworks at this park and when the firework debris comes down it lands in the dog park. Attached are just some of the piles of firework debris (pics taken in September, 2 months after the 4th of July and no it's not tree bark). I asked a park ranger if the public is allowed to set off fireworks in this park and she said no, the city is the only one allowed. This confirms to me that the city has not taken responsibility and picked up the debris. When I brought up that I have found firework debris her response was " I wouldn't know about that I didn't work the 4th of July". It consistently has issues with owners not picking up after their dog, I highly recommend keeping your eyes down so you don't...

That said, if you trust your dog (and don't mind a bit of swamp lol), this park is a nice place to go for a walk and let your dog explore! Just bring your own drinking...

My only ‘complaint’ and it’s not so much on the park as the people who go there, there is dog poop all over the perimeter. Pick up after your dog people!! Also leash your dog outside of the park. On other occasions I saw people walking back to their car without...
