The Sharon Lynn Wilson facility is absolutely stunning and a remarkable multifunctional use of space. It offers a full performance theater as well as cozy nooks for art displays, beautiful dance studios, art studios, intimate cabaret space, and the phenomenal signature fireplace in the entrance lounge. It is such a treat to attend any of the performances whether indoors or out. The facility is surrounded by Mitchell Park which makes it seem as though you've traveled to the Northern woods; hard to believe it's within the city! You'll find the staff to be very congenial and welcoming. They are all so very talented and passionate that it carries over to everything they do.

This is a 2-part review. Let's start with the Venue itself. What a beautifully intimate theater with wonderful acoustics. Parking is plentiful and free which makes it a perfect place to see a theater production. We saw Prelude to a Kiss, a Milwaukee Rep production and it was Broadway worthy. The casting was perfect and the chemistry between the actors made it so entertaining. The set changes were seamless and the orchestra melted into the story. I enjoyed the show very, very much! This is my first experience at Sharon Lynne Wilson Center and I look forward to many more events in the future.

I recently attended a concert here & this place is a hidden gem! Every area of this beautiful facility is filled with art. The concert hall had perfect acoustics and the seating was very comfortable. The outdoor patio was ideal for socializing during intermission. This great facility also offers art classes. It was a delight to attend an event here!

I do not have a clue why this theater would get anything under five stars. A few days before the event, I purchased tickets for a Kat Edmonson concert on a Wednesday at 2:00 PM. My tickets were a steal at $39.00 each. Almost sold out, I grabbed what was left for my wife and I. The seats were great, and I didn't see a bad seat in the house.

Ms. Edmondson's performance was fantastic. Frankly, she sounded better than on her CDs. The acoustics were excellent and the seats were comfortable. Everything was spotless, even the bathrooms. A huge lot makes parking a breeze. Of course, being a matinee on a Wednesday, the audience was older, and I felt like 75 years old was "The Sweet Bird of Youth," but that's okay. My funky appearance caused a few of the Brookfield matrons to stare, but I'm used to that in Milwaukee. The town can be myopic and provincial in how they treat older men who dress “arty.”

It was a great experience, and I thank Kat Edmondson and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center...

My wife and I attended a small wedding today that went to Mitchell Park to take some nice pictures. Due to the rain, we went under the canopy outside of the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center. We were there for about 20 minutes and took some photos. Unfortunately, an employee from the center came out and rudely complained to the bride because she didn't reserve the space or pay for the right to be there. We were appalled. We thought the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center was a resource that the community was welcome to enjoy. No one actually went into the building. Why was it necessary to complain to the bride? Everyone walked away saying, "Wow. I'll never come back here...
