There was a tsunami warning when we visited the coast, so we were asked to stay off the beach. We opted for more of a cliff hike at Cape Sebastian per recommendation from the guy who tracked us down on the beach with lots of warnings. It was a great hike with beautiful views. A great way to watch the irregular waves crashing on the rocks.

It is a downhill hike at first, so be prepared to hike uphill all the way back to your car. Definitely worth the hike.

There isn't a ton of parking, but there weren't a lot of people there...

You can make this a short or long hike. Lush green vegitation while hiking through the trees with breath taking views when there is an opening over-looking the ocean. Has some good incline so you still get a decent workout. There are some locations where the trail is very narrow which gets tricky when you have dogs that need to cross paths but it's still manageable. I'm from Colorado where we have awesome mountain hiking but seeing the ocean while hiking...

Trust me: STOP AND STARE. It is by far one of the most beautiful scenic corridors I have seen on the west coast. Take a cute picnic in the car or get active with the trail. You honestly can’t go wrong. Would recommend people with heavy trailers have a strong truck, as the hills are STEEP and sudden. Recommending to stay on top of the hill lot. Do not drive fast, people walk from both top/bottom parking lot for trails/views during...
