Bella’s Nail Boutique — Attraction in Brooklyn Center

I had a 3:30PM appt on 6/13 with Jenny, the owner of Bella’s Boutique. She confirmed with me that morning, and I confirmed I’d be there. I arrived on time, only to find her still shaping another client’s nails, clearly double-booked and without the courtesy to inform me of the delay via text. I waited patiently for 35 minutes past my appointment time. As someone who showed up on time and gave grace, it was deeply frustrating and disappointing to be met with complete disregard for my time. This left a very negative impression on my overall experience. It’s one thing to have the means to run a business, but if you can’t maintain your clients with professionalism and respect, that’s a serious problem. As a business owner and nail technician, I believe confirming an appointment means honoring that commitment or at least communicating proactively when things don’t go as planned. Making a client wait without an update shows a lack of respect for their time. What concerns me even more is that this doesn’t seem to be a one time issue, based on other reviews, there’s a clear pattern of not taking accountability and shifting blame. Jenny clearly lacks accountability and professionalism. Telling a client, “I hope one day you get to experience that yourself,” was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. She created this situation herself and seemed to expect clients to just accept it.
