This all abilities park is a little old/worn, but still fun for kids. Though the playground is surprisingly far from parking lots, compared to other playgrounds.
There are 2 inclusive swings, 1 parent and child swing, 1 standard swing, and 1 infant swing. There is only flat ground- cement sidewalks and flat recycled material playground carpet stuff. No sand or wood chips. Many slides. There is 1 set of monkey bars but they are unfortunately quite tall, so best for upper elementary age.
There are 3 electric music spots, though unfortunately the one in the toddler area doesn't work. There is 1 drum one and 1 piano one (that helps you play twinkle twinkle little star!) just outside the bigger kid area.
I appreciate the shade sails above. The many benches and picnic tables. And the 3 accessible bathrooms around the building and 1 accessible porta potty. There is also a seasonal drinking fountain but it wasn't turned on yet in May.
Lots of baseball fields. One football field. Lots of parking.
I'm not sure what year the playground was built, but it is sun faded and some of the rope area grips are falling apart. The playground turf seems pretty sound, but unfortunately several people have eaten sunflower seeds in shell around and the turf could use a vacuuming or leaf blower to clean it. I also noticed sunflower hulls around the entire...
Read moreThis is our favorite playground around! The all inclusiveness of it, with all of the ramps, makes is such a unique playground. The lack of sand/woodchips makes it easy on barefoot kids. It is a wonderful place for kids of all ages, but my little toddlers love it a ton because it's an easy place for them to run around at, without needing to be able to climb well yet. We also love the covered aspect of the main play area; it helps to shade it bit for those super hot, and even drizzley days. If there are games at the ball fields it does get pretty crazy though, so we...
