Summer fun in the park ! #summer fun in Delaware!

A fantastic park with 3 separate play areas in a row, each for different ages or with different plays apes and equipment. One of the play areas is specifically set up for individuals with autism - it is fenced in, has different textures on the ground, equipment that spins and swings, climbing surfaces, etc. There are ample paths and covered tables for picnics. The only thing that was NOT amazing was the bathroom option by the playgrounds. Those portapotties were completely disgusting and unusuable for small children.

I highly recommend visiting Glasgow Park in Delaware. It's my absolute favorite park in the area because of its stunning natural beauty and abundant opportunities for outdoor activities. The park not only features picturesque path trails, but also offers excellent hiking opportunities for those looking to explore the great outdoors. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply enjoy spending time in beautiful surroundings, Glasgow Park is definitely worth a visit.

Expansive. You can reserve pavilions and are always booked. Summer parking is rough. But is low rent in most of the draw. The skate park and basketball courts are mobbed leaving the central playground to be mobbed by parents mailing it in with toddlers and just older. The bike path is heavily used but the walkers have no clue to stay to the right. Very few bikers use this place. Those that do are children from parents that give them zero instructions. No baseball fields. No football or soccer. It's a strange park with little identity. Still, Delaware has few places to go and be outside. It feels relatively safe with a State Troop across the street but the immediate area has rough nieghborhoods in walking distance of the park. The YMCA is conveniently located across the...

Hugh county Park located off RT 40 in Glasgow De. Pleanty too do here, play ground, walk/run/bike path, basketball court, skate park, pavilions, bark park and fish pond for catch and release only. Lots of open space for parties, flying kites, throwing the football, corn hole, or just letting the kids run. In the winter the big hill is great for sledding. Close too Governor Square, Fox Run Shopping Center, People's Plaza Elkton MD and Interstate 95. They host a farmer's market during the summer on select weekends and hold movie events and other holiday type events here. Plenty of parking choose your time wisely though it gets busy. They have a website check it out for a...
