Just go. Support the people. It mostly attracts Blackfeet, but all are welcome. It’s an original. Don’t expect it to be run like an efficient machine with info booths and guides. Step out, ask and learn. It’s a somewhat fluid schedule, so be prepared to spend a lot of time. Don’t miss the stick games and Indian relay and dance. Read about them before you arrive. This is more about cultural immersion. You can learn a lot. I’ve been here three days. Support the Blackfeet-owned businesses. Americans owe them a great deal.

North American Indian Days is the signature celebration in Browning and always held the second week in July for four days. It is an intriguing way to see authentic Blackfeet traditions such as dancing, stick games, drum contests, horse relay races and rodeo.
