Brownsville Sports Park — Attraction in Brownsville

Brownsville Sports Park is a great place to get some physical activity! There are a variety of outdoor activities to get your body moving. Choose from basketball courts, a skate park, mountain bike trail, strength training equipment that uses your body weight as the resistance, a walking/running path, soccer field, sand volleyball courts and a baseball field. There are picnic tables and benches around the park. If you enjoy fishing you can bring your poles and fish off the docs or the pond. Kids can play on the outdoor playground equipment, however this is outdated and needs repair. Unfortunately the kids playground is the most disappointing part of the park because of its need for repair.

Great calm location for your kids. My husband loved the skate park and the basketball courts. We enjoy walking the trail and being on the bridge near the water, its awesome at sunset. Amazing fields and stadium. You can rent the pavilions there i love the one right next to the water and the childrens play gym. You can get more info on prices on their sports park website. Restrooms are okay, id take your own paper in case though. The new gym there is so clean and a great attraction for the kids while its not being used as a storm shelter. Do hate that they slapped a car dealership right in front of the entrance because you cant enjoy the view of the park anymore. Got tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday, 7/14/20. My appointment was at 1pm. Because I didn't know if there was paperwork to fill out, I got there at 12:30. There was a line of cars already when I got there. Test itself was very fast, about a minute or less but because of the long line and the safety measures needed to be taken, I left at around 1:40pm.
