This is one of my wife and I's favorite wineries to visit when we're either headed north on I-29 towards Council Bluffs, or south towards Kansas City. Whiskey Run Creek is only about a 10 minute detour west (off the interstate) located across the Brownville Bridge into Nebraska. They have numerous sweet, semi-sweet, and dry options to choose from and they're always friendly and attentive towards their customers offering suggestions and just overall excellent service. So, if you're ever in this area and enjoy wine, do yourself a favor and go support this wonderful local business!

I visited in late March and it's such a beautiful place! The owner is the nicest person and I really enjoyed talking with him. The wines I've tried are all good. I've had all of the reds at this point and even a few whites. My favorite dry reds being De Chaunac, Petite Pearl and semi dry being Chambourcin. Even the semi sweets such as St Croix or Marechal Foch are quite interesting as well. I will be back for sure! Highly recommended.

Ron was great! Stopped in on a road trip from Florida to Omaha and it was a delight hearing about the process and him telling us about each wine he had us try. The cherry or peach wines are incredible if you like sweeter wines, and the flavors are quite bold!

My wife and I took an unplanned scenic trip in the area and saw the sign for a winery. We didn't think that they would be open on a Sunday but we were pleasantly surprised to see that they were. We received individualized attention from the owner who was very pleasant and knowledgeable about his wines and local points of interest. The wines were very good and reasonably priced. We especially liked the 2009 De Chaunac and wished we had purchased more after we returned home. The location is beautiful and charming, and we would highly recommend it as a place to stop for a tasting and we imagine it would be a terrific place to host a special event....

This is a terrific establishment. Very rustic, with a wide variety of wines from those who enjoy an occasional glass, romantic those with an excellent palate and enjoy tasting. The Winery sets on the banks of a small creek and waterfalls. There is a deck adjoining the Winery for a lovely, relaxing time to enjoy wine and listen to the sounds of running water over the rock falls. This Winery is also a participating member of the Nebraska Passport club, which offers free wine after the passport is fully swamped. We felt it was a wonderful experience. Certainly hope you...
