One of the best walking trail I have ever been to. This trail was introduced to us by our friends and am so glad that they did. The nature there is absolutely stunning, with great trees, streams of water , wide open fields , great birding spot & wildlife. This walking trail has so many different trails covering different parts of the park and they are like never ending. You can take the regular trail which is well paved and is great for walking, jogging & biking. If feeling adventurous and want to try something different from the routine, It also has some side trails which are unpaved but still well maintained. This trail is beautiful in spring, summer & fall. Me and my husband love to bird watch and there were so many birds that we watched here , specially the woodpeckers saw different types of it, cardinals, humming bird, turkey vulture, hawks, gold finches, and so on. We also watched beavers , one time a fox and deers all the time.
If you love nature and enjoy watching wild life or may be want to just get some fresh air, this trail is the best thing you can ask for.
I can keep ongoing about this trail, but no words or pictures would justify unless you experience...

The trail is clean, well-maintained, and stretches out beautifully with plenty of shade from trees and the calming sound of the creek running alongside it.
There are scenic bridges, open fields, wooded paths, and even spots where you might catch a glimpse of deer or birds. It’s the perfect escape from the daily hustle, and it feels like a breath of fresh air every time I visit.
Highly recommend for families, solo adventurers, or anyone looking to reset and recharge outdoors. It’s a...
Read morePennypack Trail is a fairly well maintained trail that runs through Montgomery county to the outskirts of Philly, most of the trail is gravel, with some paved sections. The Byberry lot is around 2/3rd mark, the northern path was well shaded, fairly peaceful. It runs through southampton and ends around Bristol Road. The southern route is a quite a bit busier, it ends around Shady Lane (Rockledge), it also runs along Pennypack Creek with some pretty scenic views. In total the trail is about 17-1/2 Miles, with about 300ft of elevation change (pretty minimal mostly 2%), definitely recommend in the morning to avoid crowds, but it...
